Live to Win’s captain Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butayev said that by their next match in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021: Season 1 - CIS 1st Division, the team will start performing under a new tag. In an interview (Twitch) after their victory over NoTechies, Butayev also assessed the current form of the squad.
According to SoNNeikO in the last match, his roster played only 50% and, in the future, will be able to show stronger performances if they continue to work at the same pace:
"To be honest, today we played half-heartedly. On the first map, my teammates felt pressure for some reason, perhaps because for us it was the first official match - it's DPC, which means that everything is serious. I tried to support them. It's good that we won on the first card - after that we talked, I tried to help them. If we continue to work the same way, we will continue to play better with each match, but now we have shown only half of our capabilities."
SoNNeikO said that fans of Live to Win should expect an announcement in the near future. He did not disclose any details.
"I will say that the announcement will be very soon. Perhaps by the next match we will change the tag. We'll see."
Live to Win beat NoTechies 2-0 and earned the first three points of the 2021 DPC season. In the next match on January 29, SoNNeikO’s team will compete against Virtus.pro.
