Mid laner of B8 Esports Danil “Dendi” Ishutin shared his opinion about getting into the second division of Dota Pro Circuit 2021: Season 1. The Cyber-sportsman explained what the team's defeats are related to, and also talked about his COVID. The message was published in Telegram.
"Hello to all! It is a pity that we were not able to take advantage of two attempts to break into the first division. Everyone was on an equal footing with the new patch and training for about 5 days. As is usually the case, someone gets better in the meta and someone has more fit pools of heroes. Either the wrong conclusions from the patch are made. Over time, everyone will get it."
Dendi also elaborated on what the failures of the matches were related to. He believes that due to lack of chemistry the team also suffers the draft phase. Before the start of the season, three Brazilian players joined B8 Esports.
"Our drafts are not quite certain yet and some of the opponent's ideas were stronger. It's a normal process of forming a team and on - more atmosphere in the team is good. It's a very unusual experience for me personally, but I like the way the training process is going. All that's left is to convert it into the result!"
Earlier, Dendi reported that he had contracted coronavirus. He noted that playing during illness is uncomfortable.
"With COVID, of course, it's difficult to play, especially when the head does not want to work at all, but even with it these games could be taken away. We made mistakes, but we also learned. See you in the second division! I want to pay tribute to Extremum and NoTechies for a good game. Cool drafts from Solo and good preparation from Extremum.”
B8 will spend its first league season in the second division of the CIS.
