Dota 2 player Idan “MagicaL” Vardanyan stated that the members of the Cyber Legacy roster decided not to continue playing together. He also announced his retirement from the esports club. The representatives of the organization did not confirm this information.
In social networks, Vardanyan noted that the club did not fulfill some obligations to the roster. In addition, conflicts began within the team, which is why the roster stopped training after the first official match.
“Having assembled the roster, I really believed in the guys and everyone gave their best. A month later, the team had misunderstandings with the organization, which influenced the atmosphere and there was tension within the team. The training process was no longer productive. The organization has partially failed to fulfill its earlier obligations. I began to notice that the players lost confidence in the organization and in each other. After the first official, we stopped playing altogether, as the atmosphere in training was heating up and getting worse. We decided to leave the clarification of all the problems and discuss them after the tournament. Missing the playoffs and a quick exit from the tournament broke everyone, and only a day later we phoned and decided not to play together. Considering the dissatisfaction with the organizational work of CyberLegacy, I say goodbye to them! “
The other Cyber Legacy members have not reported on the roster’s disbandment. It is not known whether any of them will remain in the club. The current Cyber Legacy roster was formed at the end of July 2020. The team took third place in the OMEGA League Dota 2: Europe Divine Division, and also settled on the 12th - 14th place in ESL One Germany 2020 – Online.
