Na'Vi let CemaTheSlayer go citing ineffective communication

Three months after Semion "CemaTheSlayer" Krivulya stepped in to help Natus Vincere in dire times, and two months since he's been promoted from stand-in to full member, the organization is parting ways with him, adding a young promising support with potential of becoming a good team captain as well.

It's been far too long since Na'Vi are trying to find an in-game leader, a player capable of both taking the in-game leadership and having a strong input in drafts and building strategies that would fit the roster. While they have one of the most brilliant minds of the CIS Dota on their side,  Andrey "Mag" Chipenko alone hasn't managed to get the team back on track. CemaTheSalyer's arrival at Na'Vi back in February brought somewhat of an immediate improvement in their results, but with the competitive season switching to a full online routine, the communication issues seem to once again impact Na'Vi's synergy.

"We were unable to set up effective communication in the current roster, which is by far more difficult to do online with no bootcamps. Expectedly, the fans and the club itself wanted great results, so we went ahead and spoke to the team, which led to the decision to make changes in the roster. The date shift of The International and the tournament ecosystem gives a perfect opportunity to test new players and the synergy amongst them," commented Aleksey "xaoc" Kucherov, Natus Vincere COO. He thanked CemaTheSlayer for "his response to the call for help in a difficult situation and for doing it in the best way possible, qualifying with the team for LA Major," and introduced the new recruit who will make his debut with Natus Vincere next week in the ESL One Birmingham 2020 – Online competition for CIS and Europe.

Vitaliy "so bad" Oshmankevich joins the team on a trial basis, and given his role in the Vega Squadron roster from TI9 qualifiers, he will most likely try to take the captain role as well. In the TI9 qualifiers, he was the main factor in Vega's success, delivering incredible upsets. Back then Vega came from the second leg of the open qualifiers to finish first in the CIS group stage closed qualifiers with a 7-0 win streak. They reached the playoffs lower bracket finals where they got defeated by Na'Vi, who would eventually claim the CIS qualifier slot for the biggest tournament of the year.

"The next weeks will be a test period both for Vitaliy and for this roster. We are seeking the ultimate solution to the current situation. We are working on possible options in the upcoming months, and for now, we truly hope that our fans will express support and understanding," added Natus Vincere's COO – Aleksey "xaoc" Kucherov.

 Na'Vi current roster:

Vladislav "Crystallize" Krystanek

Idan "MagicaL" Vardanian

Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov

Vitaliy "so bad" Oshmankevich (trial)

Illias "Illias" Ganeev

Coach: Andrey "Mag" Chipenko
