Secret and OG to face in the Upper Bracket of the ESL Online Playoffs

After almost two weeks of Groups, the ESL LA Online EU/CIS League completes its group stages with eight teams finally securing their rightful spots in the Playoffs.

The first half of the Upper Bracket R1 will feature the top seed of Group A – the undefeated Virtus.pro and the CIS underdogs, Team Spirit. After taking down NiP with a convincing sweep, Team Spirit finished Group B in second place with 12 wins and 7 losses.

Next up is the highly-anticipated clash of the EU titans, Secret and OG. Secret has topped Group B undefeated with a 14-2 record that immediately sent them in this Upper Bracket. Meanwhile, with OG.Seed's Madara standing in for Ceb, OG was able to sweep Gambit in classic OG style within two 21-minute games to end second place in Group B with 11 wins and 5 losses.

On the other hand, Nigma get themselves another Lower Bracket run as they placed third in Group A after sweeping Vikin.gg with W33's Meepo in two games. With 8-7 record, Nigma will face the fourth place of Group B, Chicken Fighters.

Then the last two teams to qualify are Alliance and Vikin.gg. After going three games against Chicken Fighters, Alliance successfully takes the series win with a Riki carry as they end third in Group B with 10-9. While Vikin.gg almost falls out with 8 wins and 8 losses.

Even though B8 took a game from VP, it still was not enough as they are joined by Gambit, HellRaisers, and Cyber Legacy out of the tournament. On Group B, even though Liquid stayed at the bottom of the standings, they conclude the tournament as the fifth place in their group with 8-10, but was not enough to replace CF's 11-10.
