There's no doubt that Zai is one of the best players at performing cool tricks in-game. While he occasionally swap roles between offlane and pos4 support, he still makes sure he stands out with a cute play. Impressing even FY the Tusk King himself, Zai makes a rather cute play with Snowball.
Next Level Play
During a teamfight versus Ninjas in Pyjamas, while Nisha on Pangolier is using his ultimate Rolling Thunder, he helps out Nisha by snowballing him along to chase NIP's carry. The extra time allowed him and Nisha to finish off NIP's carry, Blizzy, who is on Naga Siren. While the play might seem unnecessary since he would have killed Naga anyways, it was a very efficient play by Zai to save Nisha the time he will waste from rolling around in circles. Not to mention that the area they were teamfighting are full of cliffs and walls that would affect Pangolier's rolling.
However, if Naga Siren actually had her ultimate, Song of the Siren, off cooldown, Zai alone probably would not be enough to kill her before she activates her ultimate and escape. This second game was already a one-sided game to begin with, as Matumbaman's Alchemist mid is having an incredible game as always. NIP have no solution to the overly farmed Alchemist.
Just Puppey Things
On top of that, Puppey is experimenting new meta as he plays Nature's Prophet carry. It's not every day you get to watch a hard support player, goes carry build on a hero. Frankly, watching the game, it was hard to tell if Puppey is actually the carry or support. Anyways, it seems like Puppey drafted a 4 supports and 1 carry strategy.
While the former Team Liquid used to do this a lot with prioritizing Miracle as their true carry, Puppey decides that an Alchemist game is the only game that fits this strategy. Which actually makes sense since Alchemist is the greediest carry in the game but it will be worth the effort to give him all the support. In this game, all Secret heroes went for auras and healing items to give Alchemist that extra buff to be the “boss” of the game.
Overwhelming Victory
Anyways, the first game of this series also ended with a landslide. Team Secret stomps over Ninjas in Pyjamas' incomplete roster. Of course, defeating NIP is nothing to brag about, so what we are hyped about would be when Secret faces Nigma or team OG. Unfortunately, that would not happen until the playoffs begin.
Till then, Team Secret do have a worthy contender later today. It's Puppey's former team, Natus Vincere. Although featuring a completely new roster, it does not get any better than breaking your old home, does it? Stay tuned.
