The invites list to the regional qualifiers for ESL One Los Angeles Major reveal the full roster of J.Storm playing now under a different tag. While the organization is seemingly closing all operations with no official comments being released, the Dota 2 team has got a direct invite to North America closed regional qualifiers and it looks like they will keep all their DPC points gathered so far.
J.Storm were top eight in the DPC rankings with 920 points gathered at the Chengdu Major and the Leipzig Major qualifiers. Although the new season DPC rules state that the points are tied to the organization rather than the players, the full J.Storm line-up, now playing as “business associates,” received a direct invite, which is perhaps the best indicator that the organization dropped them and will not look into signing any other team.
J.Stom and their former Dota 2 team members are in silenzio stampa, the organization’s social media accounts being quiet for more than a month now. The latest activity on the J.Storm Twitter account was mid-January when they retweeted two posts of their Fortnite players announcing their free agency.
At the same time, all five members of the Dota 2 J.Storm team are now removed from the roster on the Majors registration page.
