If we’re to think of one beastly team in the Dota 2 professional competitive scene, there’s no doubt the CIS team Virtus Pro is a candidate. But in the past months when the 2019/20 Dota Pro Circuit started, they are still struggling to find a solid ground.
From RAMZES666, RodjER, and 9Pasha department in the roster, Virtus Pro recruited and stayed with 2 trial-players Save- and epileptick1d and highly versatile player Resolution. The team skipped Dota Summit 11 because of visa-issues and also to have further more preparations into the next event they’ve decided to attend, ESL Hamburg 2019. But their performance exhibit raw and exploratory gameplay unlike to the old squad we used to know. Starting in the Lower Bracket playoffs to being eliminated by Alliance to finish 6th place. However that did not became a hindrance for the team, instead they first signed Save- officially as a member and today, epileptick1d. It seems like Virtus Pro are eager to hone this young individuals into monsters that will soon be able renew and lift up the team.
According to Virtus.pro General Manager, Roman Dvoryankin: “Egor is a promising player that we have been believing in from the very beginning when we agreed to give a chance to a younger generation. Though he still has a lot to learn as we see his true potential. Our roster is sealed, and we have a plenty of work ahead”
Egor “epileptick1d” Grigorenko commented, “I am happy am now a full-fledged member and my efforts were noticed by the guys. Playing with them in a team greatly boosts my motivation and helps to improve more rapidly. Thanks to the fans for their support all this time.”
Virtus Pro are expected to play at a local LAN in Moscow, Russia called Parimatch League Season 1 starting 28th – 30th of November. What are your thoughts? Tell us in the comments down below and I’ll see you in the next one.
