Mineski are still fighting the Visa endgame boss hours before the final Minor of the season.
StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 2 is the last minor in the current Dota Pro Circuit Season. With the exception of Ninjas in Pyjamas, who have already qualified for The International 2019 via DPC points, for the rest of the teams set to start their Minor journey tomorrow, this is their final chance to secure a spot at the last Major of the season.
Mineski are currently ranked 16th in the Dota Pro Circuit with only 246 pints gathered through the year. They absolutely need to finish top 2 at the Minor in Kiev in order to get to travel to the EPICENTER Major later this month. Unfortunately, their battle for points starts with the visa process. The team manager announced yesterday on his Twitter account that all 7 visas got denied (players, coach and the organization COO). Mister Orrin Xu, COO at Mineski has also confirmed on Twitter that his visa for Ukraine denied, despite him having Australian citizenship.
Early this morning, Zak Holman, Mineski’s Team Manager updated the fans saying that he is making the last attempt to secure the visa for Ukraine. The Minor is scheduled to start tomorrow, June 12 at 12:00 EEST with the Group A matches. Mineski are appointed to enter the battle on the 13th of June at 18:00 EEST when they are supposed to play against compLexity Gaming.
Stay tuned, we will keep you updated with Mineski’s visa conundrum.
