A few weeks ago, Valve announced a promising improving on Dota Plus after its subscribers are complaining about the lack of regular updates. Today, the dota 2 team dedicated a blog post (http://blog.dota2.com/2019/09/dota-plus-autumn-update/) discussing the features that they promised.
As the new DPC season approaches, Dota Plus have added new sets for Lion, Crystal Maiden, and Slardar. In addition, the much requested feature to be included in Dota Plus – the Avoid Player feature, has now been added. With this, subscribers now have the option to remove a certain player from their matchmaking pool.
Aside from the Avoid Player feature that was tested by TI9 Battle Pass owners, Dota Plus reintroduces the Creep Stacking Timer, Ward Suggestions, and Damage Type Breakdown.
To replace the Plus Assistant Suggestions, Dota Plus will now use the Friends and Foes feature to show how well a subscriber’s draft scales against the enemies.
They have also transferred some Chat Wheel Sounds that are redeemable by shards and the customization of chat wheels by adding emoticons.
Lastly, they have introduced new matchmaking and hero quests for this season to help players boost their shards. What’s more is that they are incentivizing playing Hard Support in Ranked Roles as they will be giving out bonus shards for those who will queue this role.
